Our journey
From its formation in 2013 to its official recognition by Liverpool Football Club and registration in the Kingdom of Bahrain, OLSC Bahrain has grown into an established Club representing Liverpool supporters across the Kingdom.
Approximately 100 Liverpool supporters gathered at the Bahrain Society of Engineers in Juffair to announce the formation of the local Liverpool Supporters Club. During the gathering, founder Dr Dheya Tawfiqi presented the plan for the Club’s official registration.
Liverpool Football Club officially recognised OLSC Bahrain as an Official Liverpool FC Supporters Club.
OLSC Bahrain was registered as an association with the Ministry of Social Affairs under the name “Bahrain Liverpool Friends Society.”
The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports granted recognition to the association under the name “Liverpool Supporters Club Association.”
The current OLSC Bahrain Board was elected on 16 May 2024 for the 2024–2028 term.
The Ministry approved changing the association’s registered Arabic name to “رابطة مشجعي ليفربول البحرين الرسمية”. OLSC Bahrain is registered and operates as an association under the Ministry under this official Arabic name.

Honorary Chairman
Dr Dheya Tawfiqi founded OLSC Bahrain in March 2013 and served as Chairman during the 2016–2024 Board term. He now serves as OLSC Bahrain’s Honorary Chairman, continuing to support the Club’s development and community.
